XRI, Inc., was founded in 2006 by an international team of education, business, and medical experts who shared a vision for global health, literacy, and environment education. The team founded XRI to combine and disseminate cutting-edge learning technology with educational content, grounded in sound pedagogical theories and practices.

As a California-based 501(c)(3) non-profit, XRI, Inc. specializes in developing rich-media-based education programs that address issues and risks caused or triggered by illiteracy, health risks, or environmental hazards. Its mission is to design, develop, evaluate, and disseminate culturally sensitive education programs to help promote and improve the literacy of people around the world. XRI works with leading institutes and corporations to develop and evaluate relevant education content and deliver it via effective and efficient ICT. Its latest efforts have been to disseminate educational content using world wide web and mobile communication devices.

The institutional objectives are as follows
  • Identify and develop educational leaders and solutions that can help the general public become more literate, aware of globally threatening health risks and diseases, and become fluent in preventive measures to effectively address and eliminate risks.

  • Invite and collaborate with experts from diverse professional fields and academic disciplines from international communities to work as a united front.

  • Disseminate culturally-sensitive XRI literacy and health educational content to international communities regardless of political, cultural, national, or economical limitations, at no cost to the public.

  • Publicize major activities of XRI such as designing, developing, and evaluating, and disseminating various education programs through publications and presentations.
